• PRODUCTION MANAGER/ SHIFT MANAGER

   Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and controlling of plant operations to meet quality and operational requirements
  • Maintaining good communications with internal and external customers
  • Being the senior man on site with regards to day to day operations
  • Ensuring safe systems of work and contractor control are maintained at all times
  • Ensure all site operations are carried out safely, and in accordance with safety standards
  • Contribute fully to all site and business quality, safety, health and environmental initiatives
  • Supporting site maintenance and the offsite facilities as required
  • Ideally you will have experience working within Lean Manufacturing chemical processes

   

  Person specification:

  • Suitable candidates ideally will be educated to at least HNC
  • You will need to have an aptitude for problem solving, planning and coping with the demands of operating, and leading a team under pressure
  • Fluent in the production of regular management reports and the ability to own and manage issues of an multi-disciplinary nature
  • You will also need to be an excellent communicator, a good decision-maker, and  be able to demonstrate a high level of self motivation and initiative
