Angela Anderson - Managing Director
After originally serving an apprenticeship in manufacturing and engineering, Angela worked in these industry sectors for 7 years before moving into the recruitment sector. She set up Zenith People in 2001 and despite the up's and down's of the economic climate has thoroughly enjoyed building the business over the past 10+ years.
She is passionate about building a business based upon knowledge, partnership, integrity and service, and is proud of the fact we still have our original first client and that all of our business relationships hold us in high esteem. Given her Manufacturing background, Ang is fully aware of how having the right team ensures that a business hits delivery, quality & performance targets, and why that is not only important within her own team, but also why it's important that Zenith recruit's the right people for our Clients.
Ang enjoys travel, books, cooking and running, and considers herself to be a 'trainee wine connoisseur'! (She enjoys the training so much, we're not sure she'll ever be fully qualified!).

Alan Metcalfe - General Manager
Another 'time served' member of the team, Alan is originally from an engineering background in the power generation industry. He has 15 years experience in recruitment covering all aspects of the sector including running high volume temporary contracts, specialist technical recruitment and senior account management within Pharma, Food, Engineering and Automotive sectors.
Al's philosophy has always been one of service, understanding and honesty and his belief is that Zenith People should endeavour to offer the best to clients and candidates alike. He is a stickler for quality and responsiveness.
Alan enjoys squash to a high level, entertaining, travel, quizzes and (most of the time) supporting Newcastle United! He loves all things Spanish and even 'habla el idioma'!

David Jackson - Recruitment Consultant
After leaving University David worked at Nissan for a period to gain some experience in the world of work. He left Nissan to take part in a 13 week Graduate Development Programme with Zenith People, after which he was offered a permanent role with the business.
David's role at Zenith has developed over the years. He has managed large scale temporary recruitment contracts and is he currently heading up our permanent recruitment in the Engineering, Manufacturing and Logistics sectors.
David believes in getting to know both Clients and Candidates alike so that he can understand the requirements of each and better match them to each other.
David enjoys sport and outdoor pursuits, and is a keen Leeds United fan! He's also the office 'control freak' and so is always extra busy 'supporting' the rest of us!

Helen Hawes - Recruitment Consultant
Helen's background is in outsourced HR and recruitment - working on behalf of large national companies. She has been with Zenith People for over 6.5 years, and during that time she has worked largely within temporary recruitment on all of our key contracts.
As a Recruitment Consultant her role involves liaising with Clients and Candidates, ensuring a responsive and effective service. Helen says her role is very reactive and that prioritising is the key! She is one of the cornerstones of the office and the font of all temporary recruitment knowledge!
Helen is a new parent and enjoys spending time with her family. With what little spare time is left outside of this she enjoys socialising and shopping (and enjoying a little bit of peace and quiet!).

Nicola Jeavons - Operations Manager
Nicola's background is call centre management - so the pace and pressure of recruitment have posed no problem for her! She has been with the business for over 5 years and her role is varied. She works closely with Helen on temporary recruitment, looks after our permanent commercial recruitment and manages our payroll function.
She is also championing our work towards the Equality Standard and ISO 9000 & 14000 - ensuring that, as a business, Zenith People is fully compliant and is meeting best practice in relation to Equality and Diversity.
Nicola enjoys mountain biking, other outdoor pursuits, travel and socializing - always the first name on the list for a team night out but always last to the bar!

Dan Barton - Marketing Consultant
After completing a marketing degree at Northumbria University, Dan spent a year and a half working in the Marketing and Communications Department at Northumbria Police. As the newest member of the team at Zenith People, Dan's role is to spread the word about the fantastic services Zenith People offer!
Dan works closely with our online and offline marketing design teams to ensure our brand gets maximum exposure at the right time and in the right places. Dan also looks after all of our merchandise, literature, web content and events.
Dan enjoys playing football, decorating his new house and supporting Newcastle United. He is Zenith's resident ideas man, and as such Angela often hides when he approaches because whatever he's got in mind tends to involve spending!!
